SHELTON, CT – February 24, 2009 – CYA Technologies, an enChoice® company, today announced the availability of CYA SmartRecovery™ version 3.0.1 for IBM® FileNet® P8 4.0. This new release empowers FileNet P8 4.0 customers using the IBM DB2 data server to protect their P8 investment and facilitate compliance by ensuring the continuous integrity, recoverability and accessibility of repository information.

CYA SmartRecovery, also available for IBM FileNet P8 3.5, gives P8 users confidence in the integrity of their information assets by performing hot, synchronized backups that preserve the relationships between content and its associated metadata (audit trails, digital signatures, workflows, etc.). It safeguards organizations against information loss and corruption caused by logical failures, enabling one, several, or thousands of objects to be restored back into the repository in their original state without taking P8 offline. Furthermore, it complements existing backup solutions by enabling companies to significantly improve recovery time objectives (RTOs), and achieve recovery point objectives (RPOs) of 15 minutes in the event of a disaster.
